I think I fixed a login bug. I couldn't replicate it, but I added some code so that situation would never occur.

I fixed one bug with the discussion groups. I haven't figured out the login bug yet.
I expect to be speaking at CFUN-03 this year, but plans aren't finalized yet.

Happy New Year!
Apparently the error handling
on this site was broken. I finally fixed it, and discovered that that Macromedia XML feed
routinely times out. I haven't decided what to do about it yet.
I'll be speaking again in January. Find out about it at my

I start my first .NET project in two weeks. I haven't seen a local ColdFusion job in over a
year.
I made a quick change to the registration process, but didn't have time to fully test it.
I hope it all still works.

I got the sampe chapter up for ColdFusion MX: The Complete Reference. You can find it here.
The DHTML menu has done a lot of weird things to layout for a lot of people. I wrote some code to not display it if you don't have the specific configuration I tested (ALA the cgi.HTTP_USER_AGENT variable).

ColdFusion MX: The Complete Reference went to print last week. Check out the Table of Contents It should hit bookstore shelves by the end of the month.
I made some modifications to this site, most notably the DHTML menu up top. Thanks to Milonic and Dynamic Drive for providing the menu. ( Note: the code works sporadically in Netscape 6.2, but fine in 6.1 and 4.7. Go figure). It definitely works best in IE. |

I moved this site to a host that supports ColdFusion 5, so the Macromedia resource feed will work.

I just finished, ColdFusion: a Beginner's Guide. It should hit bookstores in mid-late February. Check out the table of contents. I'm waiting for permission from Osborne to put a sample chapter up here.
